Designation: Senior Manager-Sourcing
Role: Stakeholder Management/ Problem Solving/Key understanding of manpower dynamics
Location: Chennai
Reporting to: Director-Sourcing (Ops Strategy)
Core Areas: City ops specific HR strategic programs/HR Operations. Provide direct HR support to the
business leading an overall employee base of appx.1300+ stores and to the further expansion as well.
Qualification: MBA-HR or any HR-related specialization.
Experience: 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources preferably from warehouse and supply chain
background. Experience in blue collar workforce management is preferred.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with the city business team to understand employee needs and provide, implement
HR solutions.
Work with managers and employees to address all types of employee relations/ conflict resolution
issues, fairly representing all interests.
Act as a trusted advisor to eCommerce leaders, providing guidance on various HR matters
including talent management, organizational design, performance management, and employee
relations.
Implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Ensure the onboarding process meets the needs of the function.
Implement performance management processes and provide coaching to support career
development.
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant development programs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the teams.
Implement and execute HR programs and initiatives within the eCommerce function, ensuring
alignment with company-wide HR policies and practices. Track HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs (such as Retention, succession
planning, Attrition, Diversity, mapping of critical role & critical talent)
Provide regular reports to leadership on HR-related KPIs.
Review and analyse business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to
recommend systemic improvements.
Provide guidance and support to eCommerce managers and employees on HR policies,
procedures, and best practices. Lead the Sourcing charter for the hiring of blue collar folks across all verticals in his region
Needs to develop organic channels for sourcing across the roles so that the turnaround time for
hiring is minimal. Track funnel metrics (line-ups, offers, joining, retention) and implement real-time adjustments.
Collaborate with various Ops and leadership for demand forecasting and sourcing alignment and
its implementation.
