Job Description

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Senior System Admin to become a key player in our Bangalore team. If you're a seasoned System Admin and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

What youll do :

Maintain and support Sapiens' global IT infrastructure as a member of the IT Cloud and Infrastructure Team.
Provide excellent customer service.
Implement new projects.

What to Have for this position:

Must have Skills:-

Operating Systems: Windows Server - Demonstrated experience in deploying, configuring, and administering Windows Server editions from 2012 through 2025. Linux - Proven ability to deploy, configure, and manage Linux servers, preferably RHEL.

Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD DS and Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, AD CS, Microsoft System Center Suite (SCCM, SCVMM, and SCOM), PowerShell, group policy administration, and high availability options such as clustering. Familiarity with Remote Desktop Services is also desirable.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi and/or Hyper-V.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS; a minimum of two years working experience is required.

Infrastructure as Code & Development Tools:

Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
Knowledge of tools such as Git, GitHub, Bicep, YAML, JSON, Visual Studio Code, and PowerShell is advantageous.

Storage Technologies:

Understanding of storage solutions, including SAN, VSAN, and ESAN, is considered beneficial.

Networking:

Comprehensive knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, IP addressing, subnetting, switches, routers, firewalls, SDN, and related networking components.

IT Standards and Experience:

Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices; practical experience applying these standards.
Prior experience working within an enterprise-level IT environment in a global, multi-site organisation or a minimum of three years relevant experience in an SME setting is essential.

5 to 8 years of experience required

Qualifications:

A degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
