Kone Monitoring Operations Centre is continuously thriving to make high availability possible for Digital and IT functions in KONE. With this vision, we are expanding our team, and we are looking for a SAP Monitoring Lead with 5+ years of experience in SAP.
Job Title - KMOC- SAP Monitoring Lead
Monitoring Lead is responsible for overseeing the performance, availability, and reliability of systems, applications, and infrastructure. The role involves setting up monitoring frameworks, analyzing performance data, identifying issues or anomalies, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure quick resolution. The Monitoring Lead ensures proactive detection of incidents and drives improvements in system observability.
Main responsibilities
- Lead the SAP Monitoring function across multiple SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, CPI, BTP, PI/PO, etc.).
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting strategies using SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, and Interface Monitoring tools.
- Analyze system performance and trends to proactively prevent incidents and minimize downtime.
- Integrate SAP monitoring data into Splunk for enhanced visualization, correlation, and alerting.
- Automate incident creation workflows using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) via webhooks or integrations.
- Collaborate with Basis, Application, and Infrastructure teams to optimize alert thresholds and resolution workflows.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain technical documentation for the onboarded application
- Maintain SAP monitoring-based SOP and ensure frequently updated
- Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions or tech talks.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4-6 years of overall SAP BASIS and technical experience, with at least 3+ years in SAP Solman or Operations.
- Good knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM (Health Monitoring, Integration & Job Monitoring).
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager (Technical Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, EEM).
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, CPI, and Integration Suite monitoring concepts.
- Understanding of ITSM processes and integration with monitoring tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic scripting or automation experience (Power Automate, Python, or Shell) is an advantage.
