Primary Responsibilities

• Strategic Test Planning: Develop meticulous test plans for the features and components under your purview, ensuring a comprehensive approach to testing excellence.

• Collaborative Reviews: Actively participate in test plan and bug scrub reviews, contributing to the collective effort to enhance the platform's robustness.

• Performance Optimization: Stress-test applications, profiling performance to identify existing behavior and bottlenecks, playing a key role in elevating the F5XC platform's performance.

• Tool Development: Contribute to the development of a cutting-edge Test Framework and Tools as required, demonstrating your commitment to innovation in the testing domain.

• Front-End Scalability: Grow into addressing front-end issues related to XC's scale and performance, actively contributing to the ongoing evolution of the platform.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Test Automation Champion: Exhibit a strong belief in test automation, showcasing a history of impactful contributions in this area.

• Networking Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent, hands-on knowledge of networking fundamentals, coupled with practical experience in Kubernetes environments and source control (git).

• Coding Expertise: Showcase excellent hands-on experience in Python/Golang, underlining your coding prowess and ability to navigate complex codebases.

• Security Acuity: Possess a comprehensive understanding of Security (WAAP), contributing to the platform's resilience against potential threats.

• Technical Insight: Display a good understanding of L2/L3 networking and routing protocols, with additional knowledge of the Linux Networking stack and Linux performance tuning parameters being beneficial.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3+ years and a Masters degree.
