Associate Architect @ Myntra

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Associate Architect - CPE to to design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions. You will be working on cutting-edge technologies - like AI, Cloud and using frameworks like Agentic AI, MCP and RAG to solve complex problems in the domain of security, compliance, observability, developer productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect tools, platforms, and infrastructure that empower engineering teams to build, deploy, and manage applications seamlessly. Your role will focus on leveraging cloud technologies, automation, and best practices to enhance platform reliability, performance, and developer productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of platforms.
• Collaborate with senior architects and engineers to design and implement cloud-native tools and platforms that support the organizations engineering ecosystem.
• Technically leading the Tools and Platform Engineering team in building self-service platforms, observability tools, and automation frameworks to enhance developer experience and defining the roadmaps for the same.
• Participate in architectural reviews, provide technical recommendations, and drive adoption of best practices in cloud engineering.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud platforms, tools, and integrations.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends to propose innovative solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8-12 years of experience in cloud engineering, software development, or platform engineering, with hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (GCP/ Azure).
• Experienced with programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation and tooling.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, and DevOps practices
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with serverless architectures, event-driven systems, or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Good to have in tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, or GitHub for infrastructure and pipeline automation.
