Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies: Create and implement strategies to attract top tech talent by using a variety of sourcing channels like LinkedIn, job boards, and networking events.
  • Partner with hiring managers: Work closely with hiring managers to fully understand the technical requirements and cultural fit for open positions.
  • Source and screen candidates: Identify, evaluate, and screen potential candidates through resume review, initial phone screens, and technical assessments to gauge skills and experience.
  • Manage the hiring process: Coordinate interviews, manage the candidate pipeline, and ensure a smooth and engaging experience for applicants from start to finish.
  • Extend offers and onboard: Negotiate job offers and collaborate with HR teams to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline: Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Stay informed: Keep up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and salary benchmarks to stay competitive in the market.
  • Utilize recruitment tools: Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidates and optimize the hiring process.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, IT, or Human Resources is often required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical recruiting and a hands-on understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Technical knowledge: Ability to understand and explain technical job requirements and assess candidates' technical skills.
  • Sourcing expertise: Proficiency in using various sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, social media recruiting, and specialized platforms like GitHub and Stack Overflow.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Relationship building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
