Job Description
Calsoft Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with deep expertise in big data technologies, cloud-based data platforms, and enterprise-level data engineering. The ideal candidate will play a key role as a solution architect/consultant, driving end-to-end data engineering and analytics solutions for global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design end-to-end Data Engineering & Analytics solutions.
- Lead solution development aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- Explore, visualize, and analyze data to understand distribution patterns and performance impacts.
- Ensure data quality through cleaning, validation, and augmentation processes.
- Supervise the data acquisition process and assist in defining data augmentation pipelines.
- Collaborate with technology teams to plan, execute, and deliver Data Engineering products.
- Provide technical design and support for APIs, models, and integration pipelines.
- Apply strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT frameworks, and analytics tools.
- Understand production environments, microservices, and test-driven development.
- Demonstrate effective communication, consulting, and technical writing skills.
- Must be fully hands-on.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Architecture, or Big Data Analytics.
- Strong expertise in Big Data, MDM, Data Lakes, Streaming Data, Spark, Kafka, Redis, Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and relevant frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with MS Fabric.
- Strong database skills (on-prem & cloud), messaging apps, API development.
- Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
- Experience with cloud-specific data services (S3, ADLS, GCS, Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery, EMR, Dataproc, Databricks).
- Experience with Real-Time Analytics tools (Kafka, Azure Streaming, AWS Kinesis).
- Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools (Apache NiFi, AWS Glue, ADF, Dataflow).
- Working knowledge of data governance, metadata, and data quality management.
- Experience in enterprise data migration, data warehousing, and DB modeling.
- Familiarity with visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of Python API frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Django.
