What youll build
You will be part of the ECS Internal Tool Operations Team and work there in the Tools & Services CoE.
The mission of the CoE is to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of critical tool landscapes through dedicated administration, operations, and monitoring. We strive to enhance tool efficiency and availability, with a current focus on transitioning LaMa to containers, FRUN to SCI, implementing failover for SDS, three tier for GLAC, enhancing SPC Procedures for optimum use for tools maintenance activities and taking up new tool DED into our tools team scope that strengthen the delivery of services to ECS customers.
In your role as an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist, you will have touchpoints with several technologies and Tools.

In your role as an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist, you will have touchpoints with several technologies and Tools.
The role includes the following:
- Work in Cloud Operations for Tools on several platforms like SAP Basis, NetWeaver Java, HANA DB, ECS specific Tools, LaMa, SAP Focused Run, and more
- Support SAP system landscape and containerized applications within ECS
- Integration Support with connected LoBs such as BTP and BDC
- Close collaboration with stakeholders and Product Development
- Contributing to initiatives to stabilize the landscape and reduce outages (RCA, Fix the Future, Fix the Past, Monitor the Fix)
What you bring
- 10 years of expeirence with strong knowledge of SAP Basis technologies such as S/4 HANA, SAP NetWeaver ABAP/JAVA based products, and hands-on experience is a must have
- Strong Problem Management skills and ability to drive root cause analysis topics
- Certifications in any of the SAP technologies like SAP HANA DB, S4HANA, SAP BTP etc is beneficial
- Strong computing skills on operating systems (Linux/Windows)
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and track scope, budget, and milestones
- Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals
- Good understanding of Dockers, Container and Kubernetes
- A highly professional, proactive, and structured working style
- Excellent English language and communication skills
- Professional training and certification
- Mindset for strategic thinking and continuous learning
