Sourcing Specialist @ GEP

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Source new vendors for various categories such as IT, Telecom, Hardware & Networking, Audio Visual, Travel Management, Facility Management, Cafeteria Management, Security Services etc.
  
• Manage vendor relationships through regular communication and negotiation to ensure best possible pricing and service levels.
  
• Develop and maintain category management plans to optimize spend analysis and improve procurement processes.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop RFx documents (RFP/RFX) for strategic sourcing initiatives.
  
• Analyze bids received from vendors during RFX process to identify the most suitable option.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in indirect sourcing or related field.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or Master's degree (M.Tech).
  
• Proficiency in tools like Ariba, SAP, e-sourcing platforms; strong understanding of global sourcing principles.
