Job Description
Role & responsibilities -
Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented UAT Operations Engineer to support the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across a diverse landscape of enterprise applications. This individual contributor role is critical to ensuring environment readiness, smooth coordination, and timely issue resolution across systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Oracle EBS, and other SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
UAT Planning & Coordination
- Support planning and tracking of UAT schedules across multiple applications.
- Coordinate with application owners, testers, and environment teams to align on test timelines, dependencies, and prerequisites.
- Assist in maintaining the UAT calendar and dependency tracker.
Environment Readiness & Issue Resolution
- Collaborate with infrastructure and environment setup teams to validate UAT environment readiness.
- Monitor data refreshes, configuration changes, and access provisioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues such as login failures, data mismatches, and integration errors.
Operational Monitoring & Reporting
- Maintain logs, dashboards, and status reports to provide visibility into UAT operations.
- Track progress, defects, and sign-offs across applications.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to provide updates, raise concerns, and follow up on action items.
Process Improvement
- Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to UAT coordination and environment management.
- Contribute to refining SOPs and operational workflows for UAT execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- 46 years of experience in environment operations or support roles within enterprise IT landscapes.
- Good understanding of UAT processes, environment setup, and multi-application coordination.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Oracle EBS is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
- Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Exposure to automation tools such as UFT is an advantage.
