What you ll do
- Developing automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency to reduce manual efforts and cost structure (lower TCO).
- Hands-On knowledge on HANA DB Administration & Linux.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to report/review/enhance overall Database performance.
- Monitor and optimize HANA system performance, including database tuning, query optimization, and resource management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP HANA & Python-code effectively.
- Work on high priority incidents and provide on-call support on rotational basis.
- Participate and own various projects, proof-of-concept initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 Teams.
What you bring
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in IT.
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask).
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience on database design, optimization, and query performance tuning (SAP Hana/Oracle)
- Develop data migration, replication, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to improve deployment, testing, and operational workflows.
- Optimize and scale backend applications for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide efficient resolutions.
- Decision-making, persistence and can-do attitude
- Methodological and conceptual skills paired with analytical thinking.
- Experience with machine learning automation or AI-driven workflows.
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP)
