Documentation Engineer / Document Controller @ Infosys

Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

• Participate in partnering with stakeholders and team members to produce high quality technical documentation.
• Review, analyze the contractual requirements (Customer specifications, local regulations, codes and standards) and prepare the requirement specification for the O&M Manual preparation.
• Ensures follow up and timely response on O&MM related issues and reaches agreements, internally and externally
• Compiling Information to produce Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
• Knowledge of how the work of the document control team integrates with other project teams and contributes to the project.
• Will work according the overall and project related document quality checklists, compliant to company and project quality procedures & accurate quality records.
• Ensures the daily documentation workflows in the project by using the dedicated Document Management System (Product Lifecycle Management, SharePoint, Documentum (DCTM), etc.)
• Track customer comments and answers, along with document resubmission.
• Prepare transmittal with defined deliverables list & submission dates
