Job Description
HVAC Design Engineer - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage all project functions including design, engineering and installation.
2. Monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered to budget and programme
3. Manage the supply chain and sub-contract organisations.
4. Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
5. Establish and manage network and customer accounts for BSL-3 Lab/ Clean Room for HVAC work.
6. Establish and manage sales network & customer accounts
7. Reporting sales, customer lists, forecast and AR follow up as required by the company.
8. Develop and promote market position of company.
9. Preparation of shop Drawings and as built drawings for records purposes
10. Prepare routing for HVAC services (Ducting,Pipes)and drafting.
11. Prepare AHU Manifold Schematic for Chilled water & Hot Water.
12. Making plan and sectional drawings of HVAC and getting approval from consultant.
13. Preparation of quantities of HVAC services and equipment/Grille schedules.
14. Coordination with other services like Builder work, Plumbing, Electrical & Fire Fighting
15. Air conditioning cooling load calculation, Heat load calculation following IASRAE & ASHRAE
codes.
16. Preparation of Bill of Quantity.
17. Support engineers with technical advice to resolve problems
18. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the client thereby ensuring their
expectations are understood and met.
19. Any other duty as the company shall form time to time assign to or vest in you.
