Position: SAP BTP Consultant
Location: Hyderabad(Base)/Remote
Full-time with Sutherland
Position Overview
The SAP BTP Portal Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering
end-to-end solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to support mission-critical operations
for a global aviation fuel supplier. This includes building user-centric front-end applications,
developing back-end services and APIs, enabling seamless integrations with SAP S/4HANA, and ensuring
secure, scalable cloud deployments to support airline fuel ordering, dispatch, delivery tracking,
contract pricing, and invoicing processes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of SAP experience with
strong hands-on expertise across SAPUI5/Fiori, CAP, Node.js, BTP Integration Suite, and cloud development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of SAP experience with at least 46 years in SAP BTP development (front-end + back-end).
- Strong expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SAP Build Apps.
- Deep technical experience with CAP (Node.js/Java), Cloud Foundry, Kyma, microservices, and BTP development tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP Integration Suite (CPI/HCI), API Management, Event Mesh, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA (fuel orders, delivery logistics, pricing, invoicing).
- Proficiency in building APIs (REST, OData v2/v4), event-based services, and asynchronous processing.
- Strong knowledge of HANA Cloud, SQL, CDS, data modelling, and schema design.
- Experience with SAP security, IAS/IPS, OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and role/authorization frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated deployment, and DevOps tools.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, UX designers, and airline operations stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP BTP certifications in Extension Suite, Integration Suite, or Full-Stack Development.
- Industry experience in aviation, fuel logistics, or airline B2B portal solutions.
- Knowledge of IATA standards, airline integration protocols, or real-time operational monitoring.
- Experience with SAP FSM, IoT, or sensor-driven aviation operational integrations.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Kyma runtime, and enterprise cloud architecture.
