Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead our application support & development team, ensure seamless availability of business-critical applications, and deliver high-quality support to end-users. The role involves managing incidents, ensuring timely resolutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements to enhance application performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the application support and development team, ensuring high-quality support and service delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day incident management, service requests, and problem resolution.
  • Ensure SLA adherence and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for escalations and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas of improvement.
  • Manage and optimize support processes, documentation, and knowledge base.
  • Implement and maintain ITIL best practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Plan and support application upgrades, patch management, and integrations.
  • Provide regular reports and metrics on team performance, incidents, and system health.
  • Mentor and train team members to enhance technical and customer service skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices.
  • Hands-on experience with application monitoring, ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA), and database systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in managing 24x7 support environments is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of financial services, insurance, or BFSI domain.
  • Experience in automation of support processes and monitoring.
