Location: Hybrid from Mumbai Andheri or Bangalore Bannerghatta
Role Overview:
As the Lead Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading end-to-end Azure cloud infrastructure solutions. You will mentor the engineering team, drive cloud transformation initiatives, and ensure adherence to best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with solution architects and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
Oversee and guide engineers in implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Manage and automate Azure services compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.
Define and enforce infrastructure standards, tagging policies, and governance frameworks.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for critical systems.
Evaluate emerging Azure features and recommend adoption strategies.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews.
Work closely with InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security and regulatory requirements.

Required Technical Skills:
7+ years of experience managing large-scale Azure infrastructure environments.
Deep understanding of Azure services VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, App Gateways, Azure Firewall, AKS, AAD, etc.
Strong expertise in IaC (Terraform preferred, or Bicep / ARM templates).
Scripting experience in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash.
Experience integrating IaC into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Strong understanding of Azure Governance, Policy, RBAC, and Cost Management.
Familiarity with hybrid environments and Azure Arc.

(Optional) HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
