Job Description: ETL/SSIS Developer with HEDIS / HC Expertise

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled ETL/SSIS Developer with strong knowledge of HEDIS reporting and extracts for Payors. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of healthcare data. Experience with Tableau for visualization is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and reporting needs.
• Build and optimize SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Generate and validate HEDIS extracts for Payors, ensuring compliance with healthcare quality reporting standards.
• Collaborate with business and clinical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance of ETL workflows.
• (Optional) Develop dashboards and reports in Tableau to support analytical insights.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL development and SSIS.
• Solid understanding of HEDIS measures and experience generating HEDIS extracts for Payors.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and ensure data accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and compliance requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4 -7 years of experience in ETL/SSIS development.
• Prior experience working with healthcare data, especially HEDIS reporting.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
