Role & responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MES/Opcenter Implementation & Integration Specialist to support the deployment, integration, and customization of Siemens Opcenter solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Opcenter Core, Electronics, and Mendix, along with strong hands-on experience in system integration, design, and administration. The ideal candidate will help the team to drive solution adoption, ensuring robust system performance, and align Opcenter capabilities with Lams business needs.

In addition to solution delivery, the role will have a critical focus on infrastructure setup and disaster recovery (DR) strategy, ensuring system scalability, resilience and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Configuration: Install and configure Opcenter Core, MOM Connect, and Mendix applications, including all related components.
• Disaster Recovery Strategy: Lead designing and implementation of disaster recovery strategies for Opcenter Core to maintain system resilience.
• Domain Expertise: Subject Matter Expert for administering, configuring, and maintaining Opcenter Core and Electronics.
• Design & Development: Design and develop custom transactions in Opcenter to meet specific business requirements.
• Architecting Solutions: Build tailored solutions and customizations within Opcenter to support Lams operational processes.
• Version Upgrades: Manage system upgrades, applying Siemens best practices to ensure smooth transitions and continuity.
• Integration: Lead integration efforts with enterprise applications such as PLM, SAP, and other platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and performance.
• Mendix Development: Utilize Mendix expertise to extend Opcenter capabilities and bridge system gaps.
• Roadmap Adoption: Guide Lam in adopting the latest Siemens Roadmap, ensuring alignment with evolving Opcenter capabilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, Mendix.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in MES/Opcenter implementation.
• Proven track record with Opcenter Core, Electronics, and Mendix.
• Strong background in system integration (PLM, ERP, SAP).
• Experience in disaster recovery and system upgrades.
