Roles & Responsibilities:

Process Engineer:

Required Skills: Aspen Hysys

• Process engineering calculations (line sizing, pump hydraulics, equipment sizing, Hydraulic Calculations, Simulation).
• PSV scenario identifications and calculation of respective relieving capacity; Flare Header sizing; etc)
• Engineering drawings like PFDs, MSDs, and P&IDs
• Line lists to support P&IDs (inclusive of operating and design conditions, test pressure, insulation requirement with thickness); Tracing & insulation requirements.
• Equipment datasheets - like reactors, vessels, tanks, columns, heat exchangers, pump, compressor, filters, mixers, agitators, packages, etc
• Input to hazardous area classification drawings
• Environmental loads and treatment
• Basic Process Control System.
