Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Rest API GIT Perl and Oracle. Experience in Wire Payments is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact our global operations all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Perl OO-Perl Rest API GIT and Oracle to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize software applications that support our core business functions.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous testing code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies to increase productivity and quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure software solutions are scalable secure and aligned with company standards and policies.
- Document software designs processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Engage in regular team meetings and contribute to project planning and progress tracking.
- Utilize domain knowledge in Wire Payments to enhance software solutions and provide valuable insights. Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in Rest API GIT Perl and Oracle with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrate experience in software development within a hybrid work model effectively balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Show a keen interest in learning and applying domain knowledge in Wire Payments to enhance project outcomes.
- Have a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Display effective communication skills both written and verbal to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
