Position: Senior Accounts Executive
Experience: 7 to 13 Years
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Colaba
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoice Processing, Ledger Reconciliation, and Vendor Management. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience using SAP with proficiency in relevant T-codes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices in SAP.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and adherence to credit terms.
- Review supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies through coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Generate customer invoices with accurate tax and billing details.
- Track collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure timely allocation of receipts.
Invoice Booking & Documentation
- Ensure accurate invoice booking in SAP using appropriate T-codes.
- Validate PO vs Non-PO invoices and maintain documentation as per audit requirements.
- Monitor and process debit/credit notes.
Ledger Reconciliations
- Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliation of vendor, customer, and general ledgers.
- Investigate and resolve mismatches in vendor and customer statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Vendor Co-ordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor queries and escalations.
- Resolve payment, invoice, and reconciliation issues promptly.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7 to 13 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP and strong knowledge of T-codes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
