Key Responsibilities
Job Description: Senior Design Engineer -Mechanical
Liaison with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to determine mechanical applications & requirements and ensure coherence.
Hands on GD&T skills desired. Prepare basic engineering calculations, CAD models & drawings with specifications.
Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
Conducting research in design to evaluate & understand design requirements. Good design data & information handling skill desired.
Design validation via basic calculation or proof of concept required.
Experience in selecting materials for various manufacturing processes is preferred.
Proficiency in CAD tools: Creo, Solid works, Auto CAD & more. Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
Strong communication skills, presentation skills, problem-solving skills
Knowledge in design of various parts/products for plastics, sheet metals, castings, forging etc., as well as design & consideration for manufacturing fixture, packages, mold etc. for mass production.
Understanding & performing tolerance stack up analysis for Assembly, design for Manufacturability and service.
Job Location : Bangalore.
