Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python for functional, regression, and API testing.
- Design and implement test cases leveraging Pytest and other Python-based frameworks.
- Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman, Requests, or similar libraries.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain documentation for automation processes.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to improve overall software quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Pytest for test automation.
- Solid understanding of API testing concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful services, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, HTML reports).
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to performance testing or security testing.
