Job Title: BIM Modeler Function: Design & EngineeringLocation : Mumbai/HyderabadReporting to : Lead Purpose of the JobThe BIM Modeler AI Data Center will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, and Structural disciplines for hyperscale AI Data Center projects. As an individual contributor, the incumbent will create accurate and detailed 3D models, ensure clash-free coordination among trades, and maintain model integrity throughout the design and construction lifecycle.The role demands deep expertise in AutoCAD MS Office and design software, and related BIM tools to support detailed design, visualization, and constructability analysis. The BIM Modeler will work closely with design engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure models align with technical specifications, codes, and project objectives, contributing to cost efficiency and reliability in execution.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for all MEPF, Civil, Structural, and Architectural systems as per project requirements and standards.
- Create and update families, templates, and detailed 3D models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and data consistency across design phases.
- Finalization of General Arrangement & details of equipment and other structures in coordination with Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, fire & Instrumentation requirements.
- Responsible for internal, inside building and external at plot level co-ordinations.
- Ensure the completion of full set of clash free model for project execution.
- Support to site team as and when require remotely or by doing site visit basis on project requirement and related clash free solution.
- Ensuring compliance, clearances with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
- Coordination with SMEs in design team, PMC, Site Engineers, field personnel and project management team, delivering projects efficiently by proposing effective solutions to problems encountered
- Preparation of Shop drawing as an when require.
Key Competencies:
- Should possess a degree in Engineering with experience DC experience will be preferable
- Thorough knowledge of the subject, definite Skills in structural problem solving & ability to deliver the designs/ drawings & reviews within specified time schedule.
- Good Software skills such as AUTOCAD, MS-Office , Design Softwares etc.
- Full familiarity of relevant codes & standards, as well as international codes.
- Flair for Design Co-ordination with client, internal departments, consultants, vendors to achieve goals using proven communication & interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, Ability to influence and manage in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Experience Required:
- Must have: Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Structural Engineering or Architecture.
- Preferred: Certification in Autodesk Revit / BIM Management or related BIM software training.
- 510 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination, preferably in data center, industrial, or infrastructure design projects.
- Proven experience in creating and managing MEPF models and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Familiarity with data center layouts, including electrical rooms, UPS systems, chillers, AHUs, transformers, and other infrastructure components.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IS, IEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC).
- Hands-on experience with clash detection, model audits, and BIM documentation.
- Strong knowledge of drawing preparation, version control, and BIM documentation workflows.
