Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Datadog GraphQL AWS Lambda and other key technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining robust applications ensuring seamless integration with AWS services and contributing to the success of our consumer lending domain projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Springboot Microservices and J2EE to meet business requirements.
- Integrate AWS services such as Lambda ECS and CloudWatch to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Utilize Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization to ensure system stability.
- Implement GraphQL APIs using Amazon AppSync for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Design and manage databases using SQL PostgreSQL and PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with company goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support the consumer lending domain by developing features that enhance customer experience and streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in Datadog GraphQL AWS Lambda and AWS CloudWatch.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL PostgreSQL and PL/SQL for effective database management.
- Have experience with Springboot Microservices J2EE and Java for application development.
- Show familiarity with Amazon AppSync and AWS ECS for seamless integration.
- Experience in the consumer lending domain is a plus providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges.
Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure - Lambda Step Functions ECS AppSync SQS SNS Glue etc
Programming proficiencies in Java (J2EE Springboot)
Knowledge of Postgres MSSQL
Firm grasp of data engineering including designing database objects for applications
Experience with CICD JIRA Terraform code versioning and branching strategies
Knowledge of GraphQL
Understanding of security testing (Veracode)
Understanding micro-services pattern
Experience with monitoring and logging tools including AWS CloudWatch and DataDog
Knowledge of mortgages is a plus
Tenacity to problem-solve using data and seeing the big-picture business needs
