Job Description

Major Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Assist in plating and presentation of dishes.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
Support the team during busy service hours.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Learn and develop culinary skills under supervision.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Head or Sous Chef.
Assist senior chefs with food preparation and cooking.
Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, measuring).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
Support with plating and presentation of dishes.
Store food items properly and check stock levels.
Clean and organize kitchen tools and equipment.
Comply with health and safety standards.
Learn and follow kitchen protocols and procedures.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
