Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices on a daily basis, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Utilize AvaIara (sales tax software) to ensure accurate sales tax is assessed
- Interact with sales and operations teams to ensure accuracy of customer correspondence
- Maintain database of tax-exempt customers
- Partner with accounting team to improve processes and controls
- Respond to requests from external auditors
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies across teams
- Assist team members with special projects as needed
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Good experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, desire to learn processes from beginning to end
- Knowledge and experience with financial reporting systems; preferably Salesforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in hands on capacity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules
- Proactively and effectively communicate status and challenges encountered
Required Experience
- At least 4-5 years of work experience in Billing process in MNC environment
