Job Description
Job Title: Recovery Agent / Collection Associate
Location: Gurgaon
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a similar role
About the Role:
We are looking for a focused and result-driven Recovery Agent / Collection Associate to manage outstanding accounts and ensure timely resolution of dues. This role requires strong follow-up skills, clear communication, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage assigned accounts for outstanding payments
- Conduct regular follow-ups through calls, emails, and in-person visits when required
- Maintain accurate records of communication and payment status
- Work closely with internal finance and operations teams to resolve account issues
- Negotiate payment timelines and support structured settlements when needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and recovery guideline
- Prepare regular status reports on collection progress
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in collections or recovery
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting and payment processes
- Ability to manage pressure and meet targets
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area if needed
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in hospitality, real estate, BFSI, or telecom collections
- Knowledge of the local Gurgaon market
- Immediate joiner preferred
