Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join our team, supporting a Fortune client in a large-scale Data Center Migration project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, network routing (BGP), and data center migration, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a client-facing consultant, collaborating with migration team.
- Support and execute data center migration activities in alignment with client objectives.
- Create and migrate Palo Alto firewall policies and manage associated configurations.
- Handle IP address management and tracking.
- Review routing configurations on firewalls and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Conduct packet captures for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Perform change management activities following client standards and templates.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation.
- Leverage automation tools to enhance efficiency in project delivery and documentation.
- Work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within the team.
Skills Required & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Proven experience in data center migration projects.
- Strong background in client-facing consulting roles.
- Solid understanding of network routing protocols, particularly BGP.
- PCNSE certification preferred (not mandatory).
- Understanding of network architecture and design principles is a plus.
