Network Engineer @ GSPANN

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/Cisco Meraki as applicable).
• Troubleshoot network incidents (connectivity, routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs).
• Monitor network health and performance, respond to alerts and outages.
• Implement and maintain firewall policies, VPN connections, and remote access.
• Support wireless deployments and to troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues.
• Perform routine network device upgrades, patches, and backups.
• Maintain network documentation (topology diagrams, IP addressing, runbooks).
• Collaborate with NOC/SecOps, server, and desktop teams for incident resolution.
• Participate in change control, reviews, and network capacity planning.

Must-have Skills & Experience

• 23 years hands-on experience as a network engineer or network support role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF/EIGRP/BGP basics, STP, NAT.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise switches and routers (Cisco IOS or similar).
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls and VPNs.
• Basic wireless (802.11) troubleshooting and AP/controller experience.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and familiarity with packet capture / Wireshark.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• CCNA/CCNP (or studying for) or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with network monitoring tools
• Experience with Aruba ClearPass, or network access control tools.
