Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our accessibility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and a passion for accessibility.
Roles and Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate accessibility projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and QA to ensure accessibility standards are met.
- Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact project timelines or budgets.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, regulations, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of accessibility principles, technologies, and standards, including WCAG 2.1.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects with a focus on accessibility, preferably in a similar role or industry.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
