About the Role
We are hiring a Security Officer to oversee and manage end-to-end security operations across our Chennai locations including factories, corporate office, assembly units, parking areas, and management residences. The role focuses on effective manpower management, safety compliance, and maintaining a secure and disciplined environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage duty rosters ensuring proper deployment and optimized shift planning.
- Supervise and monitor security staff performance across multiple locations.
- Ensure 24x7 vigilance and adherence to company security protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address security gaps proactively.
- Oversee and ensure smooth functioning of Access control, and alarm systems.
- Handle incident reporting, investigations, and emergency response.
- Coordinate with local authorities and security vendors as needed.
- Maintain visitor management, entry/exit control, and asset protection.
- Monitor attendance, overtime, and cost control for security manpower.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with statutory and internal safety standards
Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years experience as Security Officer/Supervisor in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Working knowledge of security systems, vendor coordination, and manpower management.
- Disciplined, reliable, and proactive in ensuring safety and security.
