Senior Java Backend Developer @ TEKsystems

Job Description

Required Skills:

• Strong coding in Java (17/21) and Spring Boot.
• Microservices architecture, API design, and security (JWT/OAuth2).
• Oracle DB, JPA/Hibernate, Liquibase/Flyway.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of system design and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate services from Java 17 Java 21; optimize performance and adopt new language features.
• Design and develop Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs.
• Implement API security using JWT and OAuth2 with Spring Security.
• Work with Oracle DB (SQL, JPA/Hibernate, schema migrations).
• Ensure scalability, resilience, and observability in distributed systems.
• Explain and document project architecture; mentor team on best practices.
