Job Description


Manager - Retail Media (Open)
Role Summary reporting into the Finance & Ad Ops Operations Director - will execute and manage financial and ad operations workflows across all accounts in the Retail Media department, with an initial focus on the top three highest-spending clients. This role supports campaign setup, actualization, reconciliation, and tagging across Search/PLA, DSP self-service, managed service display/video, and onsite campaigns. The Senior Manager will work closely with media teams, analytics, Media Tech, and Finance Reconciliation to ensure compliance with operational standards and support junior team members in executing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Workflow Governance

  • Complete or guide Prisma setup and fee line inputs for complex campaigns.
  • Help media buyers ensure planned Prisma/Media Ocean campaigns and Insertion Orders are aligned to client-approved budgets and supported by MAFs before launch.
  • Facilitate monthly actualization workflows and coordinate with Finance Reconciliation and media team buyers to ensure timely completion.
  • Managing IPS queues and invoice ingestion, ensuring vendor invoices are matched to buys and cleared within SLA windows
  • Investigate and document invoice discrepancies; escalate issues as needed.
  • Flag and report when invoices exceed planned or budgeted amounts.

Ad Ops & Platform Compliance

  • Complete or guide Prisma inputs for display campaigns requiring tagging.
  • For relevant display/video campaigns, coordinate with media tech to ensure correct trafficking and tag delivery.
  • Training Associates and Managers on billing protocols, maintaining QA standards, and ensuring documentation is up-to-date
  • Support audit documentation and QA processes for Search/PLA, Amazon DSP, and TTD DSP for meeting standards and following pacing protocols.
  • Work with tech partners like Pacvue and Skai and other vendors to augment our automation workstreams to support standards adherence.

Workflow & Documentation

  • Guide media team Associates and Senior Associates in automated data pulls for pacing workflows and flowcharting through systems like Guideline Planner.
  • Support the development and maintenance of RACI plans per account for finance and ad operations support.
  • Collaborate with media and analytics teams to ensure efficient data workflows.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Support onboarding and training of junior staff on financial and ad ops processes.
  • Contribute to workflow innovation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate regularly with Retail Media client team leads and Strategy & Operations leadership.
