Senior QA Automation Engineer (Hyderabad) @ Luxoft

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

As a part of Solution R&D team we are developing a product to help asset owner optimize the repair and maintenance of their power grid equipment by minimizing the probability of failure, financial risk and allowing optimal use of their CAPEX/OPEX.
The team is made up of more than 35 people who work in different countries.

Requirements analysis (identify and report gaps between requirements and the implementation plans)
Development and improvements of test automation framework
Writing API tests
Writing Integration tests
Writing UI E2E auto-tests
Testing of web application - UI and back-end testing using different approaches
Data testing, performance and load measurements
Defects reporting and tracking
Actively participate in requirements grooming process (analysis and estimation) through day-to-day collaboration with the project team
Close cooperation with QA/DEV/PO/UIUX Designer

Preferred candidate profile

At least 5 years in web applications testing
Development and improvements of test automation framework
Hands on experience in development test automation scripts using Java 5+ years
Selenium WebDriver(TestNG or Junit), Rest Assured
BDD/Gherkin/Cucumber 2+ years
Strong understanding of development and testing processes
At least 1 year experience in Jira, Confluence
English spoken Intermediate level or higher
Analytical thinking
Good communication skills

Nice to have:

Postman
Experience with Docker, setup Jenkins pipeline
Performance testing experience, stress and load testing experience
Java 8, Security (OAuth2), Cloud (AWS), microservices, Messaging (Kafka), PostgreSQL, Timescale DB, Atlassian XRay API, Kubernetes
Angular based applications testing
