Job Description
About the role- Lead one or more technical tracks independently and ensure timely delivery as per the roadmap
- Ensure knowledge sharing, training, and support to junior members of the team
- Think innovative and be part of innovative projects, produce white papers, perform POCs on new tools and technologies, etc.
- Work with DevOps and Cloud experts in an agile manner
- Upskill and learn new technologies like Containerization and perform POCs
- Automation using DevOps toolsets for IaaS and KaaS ( Kubernetes as a Service ) platforms
- Act as a Lead Cloud Developer to develop cloud-native, fully automated, AI-driven infrastructure to host 5G VNFs and CNFs
- Taking e2e ownership of the tasks and deliverables with reportings
- Contribute to improving technical processes and documentation
- Contribute to the hiring process
Mandatory skills
- Strong experience in Routing / Switching / SDN
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) and Infrastructure as a Service ( IaaS )
- Automation using either Ansible or Terraform
- Strong hands-on experience working on Kubernetes and Docker, experience working with helm charts is a plus
- CI/CD and DevOps - Knowledge of Git, Gitlab, Jenkins pipelines
- Should have knowledge of Linux and Virtualization platforms such as KVM, VMware, etc.
- Experience working with Servers/Storage (Traditional or SDS like Ceph)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking stack
- Knowledge of OpenStack
- Strong Python/Shell scripting/programming skills
Additional good to have skills
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications
- Knowledge of opensource ecosystem i.e. CNCF, OPNFV, ONAP, CNTT, Anuket, etc.
- Performance Benchmarking for NFVI
- Any public cloud knowledge - GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Knowledge of VNFs/CNFs onboarding, testing, and lifecycle management using HOT, Ansible, etc
- Understanding of Network Functions Virtualization ( NFV ) and SDN
- Experience working in an Agile manner and familiar with Agile/Scrum tools such as JIRA/Confluence
