Job Description
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for managing Core Compliance Activities across Axis Max Life Insurance along with governance and culture. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting audits, interpretation of regulations, providing advisories, training and fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization
Role & Responsibilities:
- Providing compliance support to IFSCA
- Implementation and continuous monitoring and tracking of DPDP Act and Rules
- Supporting Head-AML in AML monitoring and reporting
- Conducting periodic audits across all relevant functions of the organization, to check adherence to the laid-out processes in accordance with the regulatory and general Compliances.
- Fostering a compliant culture in the organization by continuous reiteration on AML and other compliance requirements by driving a structured awareness campaign across the organization
- Review and dissemination of the compliance related policies as well as SOPs subject to changes in guidelines issued by IRDAI from time to time.
- Ensuring adequate implementation and adherence of compliance processes/ by all relevant stakeholders.
- Publish weekly and monthly update/MIS/dashboard to relevant stakeholders/management
- Filing of IRDAI and other regulatory reporting through coordination from various departments.
- Creating a structured, customized Compliance training program for all new joiners and ensuring refresher training once a year for all Axis Max Life employees
- Carry out industry benchmarking and best practices to support business and other functions from compliance advisory point
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Post Graduate Degree, LLM is preferred
- 8+ years of relevant experience
