Software Engineer (Python) @ Indecomm

Job Description

• Provide production support and enhancements for Python-based AWS Lambda and serverless applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug production incidents to ensure minimal downtime and high availability.
• Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and implement long-term fixes in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate support tasks and improve monitoring.
• Use SQL queries to investigate and validate data-related issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to resolve production challenges.
• Document issues, resolutions, and best practices to strengthen the knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and handle incident escalations.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) or Computer Applications
• Strong hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech) or Computer Applications (BCA/MCA).
• Good knowledge of AWS Lambda and serverless application development.
• Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, RDS, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, IAM.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and serverless workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
