Position: Senior Data Engineer (GCP)
Experience: 6-8 Years

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support a financial analytics modernization project. The role involves designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring data quality for large-scale financial datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries in BigQuery.
• Work with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Develop and implement data governance, quality, and security best practices across all pipelines to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Support migration from legacy systems to cloud-based BI tools.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with SQL and BigQuery, including advanced querying and optimization techniques for large datasets.
• Expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics architectures.

Mandatory Skills: SQL, Python, GCP (BigQuery, Airflow, Dataflow)
