Role & responsibilities

JD: Power BI Lead Developer

Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Power BI solutions.
• Create calculated columns, measures, and tables to meet complex analytical requirements; implement advanced DAX calculations, and ensure best practices for performance and scalability.
• Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service, including configuring connections, scheduling refreshes, and monitoring gateways for performance and reliability.
• Data modelling experience.
• Software development life cycle (SDLC) management experience, with awareness on Git and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Support end-to-end testing (SIT and UAT) for BI solutions to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Mentor and guide BI developers and analysts; establish standards and reusable frameworks.
• Support CI/CD automation and process improvements for reporting and analytics delivery.

Minimum Relevant Experience:
8+ years in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, with at least 5 years in Power BI architecture and leadership roles.

Primary Skills:

• Power BI (Desktop & Service including App) Advanced DAX, Data Modelling, Performance Optimization
• Leadership & Project Management Team building, stakeholder engagement

Good to Have:

• Experience with Tableau for cross-platform analytics
• Tabular Editor
• Other cloud-based analytics tool experience
• Azure experience
