 Senior Engineer

Job Description

  • Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand, including advanced architectural patterns (e.g., DQMH, Actor Framework, or LVOOP).

  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience in test automation, REST APIs, multiprocessing, and integration with LabVIEW via .NET, Python Node, or shared libraries.

  • Experience designing and deploying real-time test systems.

  • Experience with test instrumentation like PXI/PCI hardware and Keysight TRx.

  • Proficiency in data logging, database integration (SQLite, SQL Server, MongoDB), and large-scale test result management.

  • Expertise in automated test framework design, code modularity, unit testing, and version control.

  • CLAD or CLD certification

  • Hands-on experience with NI System Link, TestStand Deployment Utility, and LabVIEW Application Builder for enterprise-scale test system deployment.

  • Experience: 4 to 8 Years.
  • Education: BE/B. Tech/M. Tech - ECE/EEE/CSE

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, modular, and reusable automated test systems using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand with a focus on software architecture best practices (e.g., Actor Framework, DQMH, State Machines, LVOOP).

  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms in test sequences and data acquisition systems.

  • Create and implement test sequences, data logging, and analysis routines for high-quality testing and reporting.

  • Architect real-time and deterministic test applications, Integrate Python scripts for automation, system control, data processing

  • Interface with PXI/PCI hardware, Keysight TRx, power supplies, DMMs, and other test equipment via VISA, SCPI, IVI-COM, and custom drivers.

  • Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and versioning pipelines using custom CI/CD workflows.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

  • Develop responsive, user-friendly Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for test systems using XControls, event-driven architectures, and modern UI/UX principles.

  • Use NI DIAdem and G Web Development Tool for interactive data visualization, automated reporting, and web-based test dashboards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, conduct design reviews, and ensure architectural alignment with project goals and timelines.
