Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- As a Tanium Admin, perform daily operational tasks such as client health monitoring, platform health and take appropriate actions as applicable
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues on the platform
- Perform Tanium Administrator tasks such as managing RBAC permissions including User Groups, Personas, Content Sets, Computer Groups and Module Action Groups. >Develop custom Tanium sensors and packages to fulfill team and customer needs
- Should be able to plan for client upgrades in maintaining a version status for all deployed products and policies along with platform upgrades and evaluate the new features in staging environment/test environment
- Handling complex business use case requirements and operationalize Tanium
- Handling modules such as Core, Asset, Discover, Impact, Reveal, Comply, Patch and Deploy
- Reach out to Tanium technical support or TAM for key support when needed and coordinate with internal teams as required to resolve the reported issues
- Creation and maintenance of all Tanium related documentation covering configuration and operational guides
- Provide knowledge sharing sessions to the operations (functional) teams and collaborate to streamline the module specific operations
- Work with the functional teams and help to integrate with compatible tools/platforms
- Automate the ongoing/regular admin activities >Assist the teams in transformation projects/activities as required
- Administration of Microsoft Defender for endpoint, exclusion handling, policy tuning, troubleshooting of defender issues
- Assist Security incident response teams in resolving the security incidents pertaining to Defender for endpoint
- Implement best practices with respect to defender for endpoint policies and guidelines
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
