Job Description
Position Purpose
The KYC Analyst is responsible for preparing and recertifying KYC files for new and existing clients across multiple regions. The role ensures all compliance documentation, checks and validations are completed accurately while maintaining high standards of quality, regulatory compliance and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete KYC Due Diligence packages for periodic reviews and onboarding.
- Collect and validate mandatory documents in line with global KYC requirements.
- Perform checks using third-party databases, websites, and exchange sourcesincluding screening against global and local blacklists.
- Liaise with SBOs and internal stakeholders to obtain missing documents or clarifications.
- Submit documents for onshore team validation and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Archive and upload data/documents accurately into internal systems.
- Ensure files meet all QA, compliance and control standards.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work across multiple IT systems and platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excelintermediate to advanced preferred).
- Knowledge of global KYC standards and compliance frameworks is an advantage.
- Additional language skills (e.g., French) are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required (Commerce/Finance preferred).
- 25 years of experience in KYC due diligence, Client Onboarding, AML, or financial operations.
- Experience supporting international stakeholders is preferred.
