Job Description
Role Summary
The Full-Stack AI Engineer (Product & Agent Engineering) is responsible for building production-grade AI features, agentic workflows, and vertical copilots across micro-industries. This role sits at the intersection of product UX, backend engineering, and applied agentic AI, owning end-to-end delivery from UI to inference orchestration.
You will transform domain workflows (RCM, DSO operations, PBM, Network Ops, Quality Ops, etc.) into reusable SaaS features and AI agents that are monetizable, scalable, and defensible IP.
Key Responsibilities
AI Product & Agent Engineering
- Design and build vertical AI copilots tailored to specific micro-industries.
- Implement domain agents for operations, analytics, quality checks, and decision support.
- Integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, code agents, and ops agents into real enterprise workflows.
- Build agent orchestration logic (task planning, memory, tool usage, escalation).
Workflow Automation & APIs
- Translate complex business workflows into event-driven, agent-powered automations.
- Build micro-industry reusable APIs (e.g., RCM eligibility & denial APIs, DSO operations APIs, PBM workflow APIs).
- Design APIs to be product-ready, composable, and repeatable across customers.
Full-Stack SaaS Ownership
- Own frontend experiences (copilot UI, dashboards, agent consoles).
- Own backend services (API layers, orchestration services, inference services).
- Ensure SaaS-grade concerns: tenanting, auth, observability, performance, and cost control.
- Work closely with platform engineering to integrate with billing, provisioning, and CI/CD.
Collaboration & IP Creation
- Collaborate with PhD researchers to productionize models and agents.
- Partner with AI Product Manager to translate requirements into shipped features.
- Contribute to reusable accelerators, demo apps, and reference implementations.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in full-stack or backend engineering with strong product ownership.
- Strong experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, or RAG architectures.
- Proficiency in modern backend stacks (Python, Node, Java, or equivalent).
- Frontend experience with React or equivalent UI frameworks.
- Experience building API-first, multi-tenant SaaS systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building agentic workflows or copilots in production.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, telecom, or industrial domains.
- Exposure to MLOps, inference optimization, or model serving.
