Senior Java Developer Cloud & Microservices (On-Prem to Cloud Migration)
Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to work with the IT Cloud Foundation team supporting Application Services. The role focuses on migrating business applications from On-Prem to DMZR Cloud, building cloud-ready microservices, and enabling long-term application ownership within development teams.
You will work closely with core development teams, cloud platform teams, and BNP Group stakeholders in a distributed European environment (Germany region).
Key Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Plan, define, and implement cloud migration strategies for applications
- Support On-Prem to Cloud (DMZR) migration initiatives
- Plan and manage production releases ensuring performance and stability
- Support decommissioning of on-prem servers
- Design and implement central orchestration solutions as required
- Document cloud tools setup, configurations, and frameworks
- Assist teams with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
- Track action items and follow up with respective stakeholders
- Prepare and share weekly & monthly project status reports with Senior Management
Contributing Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to teams using automation and IT operations tools
- Collaborate closely with BNP Group and European support teams
- Ensure availability of environments and access for project teams
- Proactively identify risks and track mitigation plans
Technical Skills (Must Have)

Experience & Qualification
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years in IT Software Development
- Education: Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
- Client Exposure: Prior experience working with European clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
