Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Cobol applications on TACL/TAL systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in existing Cobol applications using debugging tools like DSPF.
• Develop technical documentation for new features and changes made to existing codebase.

Job Requirements :

• 3-10 years of experience in Cobol development for mainframe computers (e.g., IBM System z).
• Strong understanding of COBOL programming language syntax and semantics.
• Experience working with TACL/TAL development environment is required; knowledge of other mainframe operating systems an asset.
