Senior .NET Developer IBS Project | Chennai

Location: Chennai
Experience: 7 to 9 Years

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior .NET Developer for our IBS Project under IT Functions. This is a key role involving end-to-end development, maintenance, and technical leadership of IBS applications collaborating with teams in Chennai, Paris, and Lisbon.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in .NET technologies, Angular, Web API, ExtJS, and be capable of driving technical solutions, migrations, and complex development tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from business teams; provide optimal technical solutions.
• Lead and manage development projects independently.
• Act as the technical owner/leader for IBS applications.
• Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams (Paris & Lisbon).
  

Contributing Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-quality web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code using .NET, Angular, ExtJS, and modern web technologies.
• Execute unit testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Recommend technical improvements, performance enhancements, and architectural solutions.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in:
  C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework 4.5+
  Ext JS, Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX
  Web API development
  
• Development Tools: Visual Studio 2017+
  
• Database:
  SQL Server 2016+
  Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Indexing
  Database design, optimization, and performance tuning
  
• Version Control: GIT, SVN
  
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
• Ability to mentor team members and provide technical guidance
• Ownership mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience as a Senior .NET Developer
• Strong ability to design, code, review, and guide the team on .NET technologies
