- We are currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master to help support our Banking Team in its continued transformation journey.
Responsibilities
- Understand project scope, goals and deliverables of the Project.
- Effectively communicate project requirements to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion by identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
- Help stakeholders to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Monitor, track and provide outward communication for improved transparency on teams progress against their delivery goals for product releases.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Drive and lead the scrum activities for the scrum teams within the ongoing sprints.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Implement process improvements inside teams.
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team.
Skills
- Must have
- Overall Experience of 8+ years along with at least 3+ years of experience as Scrum Master in Banking Domain
- Good understanding of SDLC preferably who has worked in technical role(BA,Dev,Tester) in previous projects with strong time, cost and value management
- Experience in using Jira and other Agile development tools
- Experienced in working with globally spread cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Able to do excellent demos/presentations
- Experience in managing onshore/offshore teams and able to resolve any roadblocks and work or team conflicts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand the fundamentals of iterative development
- Understand the fundamentals of software development and processes
- Understand incremental deliveries and value of metrics, schedules,capacity and milestone tracking
- Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity and task definition
- Familiar with common agile practices, service-oriented environments
- Nice to have
- Scrum Certifications from reputed institutes desirable
