Job Description
- The role is with our core Testing team, which is supporting a big Migration Project. The role is part of the Automation testing team which aims to bring innovation and automation of Murex Test cases to accelerate the project execution.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to derive test scenarios and test cases.
- Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and hidden defects.
- Manage defect lifecycle: log defects, track, retest, and ensure closure within defined SLAs.
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and validate functionality.
- Prepare and maintain test data, test environments, and test execution reports.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings (Agile/Scrum model).
- Ensure testing processes adhere to defined QA standards and best practices.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide production validation if required.
- Assist in developing MxTest automation scripts for the Murex project
- Techno Functional Back Office work
- Total Experience 7 to 12+ Years
- Murex 3.1 experience 5+ Years
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Murex functional testing experience on Back Office is a must. Outside of BO, good to have experience on Front Office deal booking, payments module
- Understanding of the bank''s front, middle, and back office operations, finance, and accounting. Experience and management of at least one Front to Back implementation within a financial services organization
- Experience in preparing test plan, test cases, and RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix)
- Experience in functional, regression, smoke, system, and integration testing
- Strong knowledge of defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla, or similar)
- Experience working with report comparison tools and outputs
- Experience in the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Good exposure to database queries (SQL queries for data validation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of financial market products

- Experience in working directly with technical leads, project managers, and Business Analysts in business and IT organization
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Exposure Murex Performance testing.
- Exposure to Automation Tools, MxTest.
- Domain experience in Capital markets / BFSI.
