Job Description
Role Summary
The Retail Operations role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across retail stores, driving operational excellence, compliance, store readiness, and consistent customer experience while working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Training, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all retail stores operate as per defined SOPs for sales, customer experience, inventory, and compliance.
Drive store readiness, including hygiene, VM execution, demo availability, fixture maintenance, and manpower deployment.
Coordinate and manage New Store Openings (NSO), renovations, relocations, and store closures.
Monitor inventory hygiene, stock availability, ageing inventory, and coordinate timely replenishment with supply chain teams.
Track store-level operational KPIs and address gaps through corrective actions.
Manage escalations related to store operations, customer experience, and compliance.
Ensure consistent implementation of brand guidelines and VM standards across stores.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, RQE, and Training teams for audits, process improvements, and execution.
Prepare and share regular operational reports with insights and action plans.
Key Skills & Competencies
A person should have a minimum of 8 years of strong understanding of retail store operations and execution
Hands-on experience in managing multi-store operations
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Data-driven approach with good reporting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to drive compliance, process discipline, and execution excellence
